Popis: | This paper describes an attempt at designing an integrated, principled interface to an application in the educational domain. We tried to address some issues in the design of a learner-centered interface through rethinking the problem of learning as a human activity and resorting to the concepts of three different action theories: Leontiev’s activity theory, Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, and Greimas’ semio-narrative theory. This recourse to activity theories is conceived as an alternative to the traditional cognitivist paradigm of cognition as information processing. |
