Popis: | Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) are synthesized as intracellular carbon and energy storage compounds by many bacteria and are accumulated as granules in the cytoplasm of cells. Quantification of enriched PHA is of great importance for industrial production processes. Fluorescence measurements are particularly suitable for rapid determination of PHA during fermentation. With LipidGreen2 as fluorescent marker a fast and reliable assay for PHA monitoring in bioreactors was developed. |
