Popis: | D-3-O-methylchiroinositol isolated from the stem bark of Piliostigma thonningii was evaluated for analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic activities. The compound was screened for analgesic activity by the acetic acid-induced writhing and tail immersion tests.
