This scientific work describes the main methods of activating educational and cognitive activity, closely related to the use of game technologies in the learning process, role-playing as the means of teaching Russian as a foreign language and its influence on the modern educational process. The main features of the role-playing games usage in terms of teaching foreign students of humanities are revealed. The analysis of methodological developments of role-playing games for basic (level A2) and threshold (level B1) levels of language proficiency is carried out. As a part of the practical research, methodological recommendations on the organization of role-playing games for foreign students of humanities were developed. |
