The “Wireless technology for hearing-impaired children »Where can I buy that spy ear?«” manual focuses on the use of wireless technologies (Radio aids), which are designed to improve listening quality and speech comprehension in users of hearing aids and cochlear implants. The aim of the manual is to present how to effectively use wireless technologies by children, especially in acoustically demanding environments. The manual is based on foreign knowledge and Czech research carried out under the project called “Promoting more effective use of wireless technologies by children with hearing impairment”, conducted by Olomouc University Social Health Institute (OUSHI). The manual includes portions of interviews with parents and experts. This is the first Czech output on this topic. |
