| Abstrakt: | The article presents a speech by scholar and librarian David Vaisey commemorating the 400th anniversary of the death of English scholar, diplomat, and founder of the library at the University of Oxford Thomas Bodley, delivered on January 30, 2013. He discussed the debt owed to Bodley by the University of Oxford, Bodley's purposes in endowing the library at the university, and Bodley's choice of librarian Thomas Jane as librarian. |
