Abstrakt: The article discusses the representation of archives and archivists in literature and film. Works considered include the novel "De Ordening" by Dutch writer Kees van Beijnum, the novel "Das Schloss" by German author Franz Kafka, and the film "Grijpstra & De Gier," directed by Dutch filmmaker Wim Verstappen. Topics addressed include the attitudes of archivists to their profession, the emergency and disaster management in archives, and archivists as murder victims, as murderers, and as amateur sleuths.
