Abstrakt:	The article discusses the experiences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Library in Kumasi, Ghana in reaccessioning and stocktaking of the library resources to generate data for the implementation of a library automation project. Topics include the development of an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) using accession records, the establishment of real volume of library stock including books and other resources, and the reclassification of books with incorrect class numbers.
