Thirty-eieht academic libraries in the southeast were surveyed concerninig their periodicals management practices. Topics covered included how their periodicals are arranged physically and intellectually, who is responsible for managing them, what types of services are provided to users, and how satisfied users and staff are. In today's complex and diverse information environment, user frustration has become a major service concern.
