Abstrakt: American Sign Language (ASL) is the third most common language in the United States, and an increasing number of Americans are becoming aware of this important language and the Deaf culture at its core. The growth of the Internet has provided a forum for a large number of World Wide Web sites that provide information on ASL, Deaf education, and Deaf culture. We have examined a large number of World Wide Web sites, and have selected and abstracted those sites most appropriate for researching ASL or Deaf culture. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]
