The article provides news briefs on indexing societies around the world as of December 2011. The Australian and New Zealand Society (ANZSI) of Indexers held its 2011 conference in Brighton, Melbourne, Australia September 12-14, 2011. The Society of Indexers (SI) has developed a training course that is now being offered to members of other indexing societies. Marie-Pierre Evans was awarded the 2010 Betty Moys Prize, which recognizes the best newly accredited indexer. |
