The article presents information on the Public Library Data Service (PLDS) annual survey where public libraries from the U.S. and Canada provide information on finances, library resources, annual use figures, technology, and additional yearly special categories. The article presents trends and insights across the PLDS survey data and across population groups. It is informed that the survey, which was conducted on behalf of the journal "Public Library," used data from the PLDS 2011 Statistical Report. |
