| Abstrakt: | The article presents activities that educators can undertake as part of the Grades 3-5 curriculum to explore the works of author-illustrator Chris Van Allsburg. The activities for Language Arts include exploring characters' perspectives, a thesaurus search, and making a book review. For social studies, the activities include continental cruising with Ben and Exploring a Life Answer Key. For science, problem-solving and discussion of earth-science related topics are suggested. |
