Abstrakt: Presents several papers about the effects that changes in technical processes at the Library of Congress (LOC) is likely to have on libraries and librarians around the U.S. Among these effects discussed are cooperative cataloging, which would mean a title only needs to be cataloged once, at the LOC, catalog changes being undertaken at the LOC could provide a catalyst for changes in the role of the catalog department, and the effect of closing the card catalog on the physical form of bibliographic records.
