The article offers updates related to the Open University (OU) in Milton Keynes, England. It mentions the strategy of OU's library services department to utilize technology-enhanced learning and guarantee OU students to graduate with a transferable information literacy skills in 2010-2013. It notes on the Access to Video Assets (AVA) project which intends to cover the increasing demand for the development of OU's rich media legacy assets. It also cites the Linking University Content for Education and Research Online (LUCERO) project which is designed to use linked-data technologies and standards to education and research practices. |
