A reply by Josh Pasek and colleagues to Aryn C. Karpinski's comment on their article "Facebook and Academic Performance: Reconciling a Media Sensation with Data" is presented. They address the issue of sampling of students from the University of Illinois at Chicago as well as the coding of grade point average (GPA) used in the study. The authors note that more research is needed on the topic. |
