| Abstrakt: |
The article provides a description of the State Archives of the German state of Saxony as it is administered in its Dresden location. The archive's two departments are described along with its areas of responsibility and division into three smaller offices including personnel, organization, and communication. Then the main national archive, Hauptstaatsarchiv Dresden, the first national archive established outside of Berlin, Germany is described. Details concerning the building which houses the Hauptstaatsarchiv are also provided. |
