Abstrakt:	The article presents a study that aims to determine the information requirements of researchers in conventional universities in Karnataka, India. The questionnaire method was used to collect data while the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) tool was used for the data analysis. The result of the study shows that current journals are highly preferred information resources followed by reference books and subject books in the order of reference.
