The author expresses his views on information professionals and the information industry. He asks why the industry did not invent Google. He highlights the lack of foresight for failing to have the sense of destiny to do what Google did. He stresses the need for information professionals to network their skills using the latest and coming technologies. He also underlines the need for the information industry to see themselves serving the world and not just clienteles. |
