Abstrakt: The article discusses efforts by librarians and information professionals to adopt and promote green practices to help conserve energy. Richard Hulser, an information professional from Los Angeles, California, recommends reusing and recycling paper and switching to electronic content subscriptions and information access to reduce energy costs and consumption. The sustainability efforts of the Morris Library at the University of Delaware (UD) include recycling all print cartridges and encouraging the downloading and emailing of electronic research.
