The article offers information on strategic conversation, an important vehicle that helps teachers improve instruction. It is a series of targeted, individualized interactions with teachers that are designed to help them improve their instruction. It relies on four conversational approaches, namely reflecting, facilitating, coaching, and directing. It may be difficult at first for teachers to receive more frequent and targeted feedback if they have been receiving unclear feedback for years. |
