| Abstrakt: |
The article reports on a study of the library management of American public libraries with specific focus on fundraising aspect. It examined the library management of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. It founds out that the strategic and scientific nature of the management of American public libraries concentrated on application of multi-methods in fundraising, strategic reorganization of library organization and services such as the establishment of development office, and theory of library management based on shared practices. |
