A letter from several members of the Visual Resources Association (VRA) nominating Norine Duncan, art slide librarian at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, for the 2007 VRA Nancy DeLaurier Award is presented. They believe that Duncan is eligible for the award because of her development of the Image Resource Information System (IRIS). They applaud Duncan for revising IRIS despite of the strict standards of VRA. They note that Duncan also celebrates the achievements of others. |
