Abstrakt: The article outlines the significance of improving student research skills in Australia. It reveals that research projects and reports done by students can be deflating experience for teachers because it hold so much scope to enable authentic, student-centered learning, genuine inquiry and deep understanding. If students lack the understanding of the subject at hand, they cannot produce quality work.
