The article describes the efforts of the Norris Medical Library of the University of Southern California (USC) to promote the use of personal digital assistants (PDAs) and to foster their use by other departments of the Health Sciences Campus. It provides information on a Medical Informatics Seminar on PDAs sponsored by the Norris Medical Library. The library also created a web page which contains links for PDA resources. It cites that direct patient care is a key component of medical education. |
