The article explores the involvement of popular authors in teaching on the growing number of creative writing courses. The authors include Hanif Kureishi and Rachel Cusk. Kureishi is concerned at the number of creating writing courses that are set up by people with no qualifications whatsoever and by people who are bad writers. The relationship between creativity and academia is described. |
