Abstrakt: The article discusses the growing interest toward Web site log files and offers information on the concept of site search analytics. According to the author, the term site search analytics refers to the process of looking at a search engine log files and evaluating the information the files supply to improve and implement changes to a Web site. The author admitted that there are valid reasons why site search was not a priority in the past. Most Web sites are built around the original World Wide Web model of directories and links. The acronym SERP, which stands for search engine results page, has not yet become an everyday parlance in business, but soon it will be as common as "home page."
