| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the study being done concerning the problems and prospects of automation in technical college libraries of Madhya Pradesh, India. The study aims at understanding and analyzing the various problems faced during the process of automation and suggested ways to overcome these problems. The methodology used is questionnaire-based survey. According to the results of the findings, it show that the la ck of staff, lack of computer training of staff, hesitancy in learning use of computers, software and hardware problems and lack of administrative support are the major hindrances to speed the automation. |
