The article offers news briefs on issues related to botanical and horticultural libraries in the U.S. The full ten-volume set of the "Garden and Forest: A Journal of Horticulture, Landscape Art, and Forestry" has been released as the first digitization project of the Preservation and Reformation Division of the U.S. Library of Congress. The New York Botanical Garden has received the shipment of botanical books donated by the Columbia College in New York. Among the essays published by Bill Burk of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in volume 99 of the "Ohio Journal of Science" are "Richard Jasper Anderson 1913-1999" and "Howard E. Bales 1912-1998." |
