| Abstrakt: |
The article presents information on the world library and information congress titled "Libraries: a Voyage of Discovery," which was held in Oslo. The congress was blessed with beautiful weather and an impressive number of participants. Some 3,000 speakers, delegates, exhibitors, volunteers and accompanying persons from 133 countries took part in the congress and enjoyed Norwegian hospitality. The opening ceremony included the congress keynote address by Professor Francis Sejersted of the Norwegian Institute for Social Research. It also gives information on the papers which were discussed during the conference and also have been included in this issue of the official journal of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions. |
