Abstrakt:	The article discusses how library programs are responding to loneliness which is considered as a major public health epidemic. Topics include research from the Cigna Group which shows that more than half of American adults are considered lonely, difference between social isolation and loneliness according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the struggle of many libraries to engage young adults in meaningful and consistent ways.
