20 years of credit-bearing courses: Reflections, takeaways, and next steps.

Abstrakt: The article focuses on the Z. Smith Reynolds (ZSR) Library at Wake Forest University, which has been successfully teaching credit-bearing information literacy courses for 20 years. Topics include the development of a robust curriculum, overcoming barriers in content and logistics, determining where the courses fit in the curriculum, selecting qualified instructors, balancing workload, and strategies for attracting students without making the courses mandatory.
