This panel will present examples of how to conduct critical social justice research in Information Science (IS) that acknowledges intersectionality. Each of the panelists has extensive experience in designing and conducting IS investigations with communities underrepresented in research who may belong to various, interdependent social identities. The panelists will present their specific empirical research and/or make a theoretical contribution that applies the intersectionality framework. Each of the panelists will give a presentation followed by a Q&A session. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
