Reports that Aberdeen University in Aberdeen, Scotland, has launched its Sixth Century Campaign, a recruitment campaign in which academics are invited to apply for jobs the university has not advertised and promising top-flight researchers an environment that allows for intellectual stimulation. Description of the recruitment advertisement; University's attempt to break down barriers between disciplines by reorganizing itself into broad-based colleges and schools. |
