Abstrakt: Everyone agrees that we have moved from the industrial society to the information age, but most leaders and decision-makers are not quite sure what that means. If they did, libraries and information services would not be an underfed, declining species, but recognized as an extremely important and basic element in society's program for the future, especially for the next twenty years of the twentieth century.
