The first interagency workshop identified issues about public access to government information; the second workshop focuses on issues about public access to government computers; the third workshop considered a draft framework that outlined five major areas of concern, including framework revision, client-based services, user support, pricing and budgeting, and locator and standards. This article summarizes the Fourth Interagency Conference on Public Access, which was held in Reston, VA on April 26, 1993. The all-day session focused on issues the subgroups identified in their deliberations, a revised policy framework document to incorporate these policy issues, and locator systems.
