Abstrakt: This study investigates the effects of differences in display, viewer, and task characteristics on interpretation accuracy, viewer preference, and learning in a computerized information system. The authors develop an experimental framework applied to the design of a carefully controlled experiment using Lockheed engineers. The binary and categorical data were analyzed using logistic regression. The study improved the level of awareness and understanding of the interactions between task and display.
