Joining the Committee of the Cumbrian Local History Federation in 2017, Adrian became a regular contributor to its I Bulletin i , typically on medieval or early modern topics, and represented the organization on the Advisory Board of the Regional Heritage Centre at Lancaster University. Already a member for 40 years when he joined the CWAAS's Council in 2012, Adrian served variously as Secretary of its Outreach Committee, as Membership Secretary, and finally as its Honorary Archivist. Graph Adrian Allan will be remembered with affection as a committed archivist with a unique and generous personality. [Extracted from the article] |
