The article focuses on the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled. It discusses the implementation of the treaty, which offers an exception to domestic copyright law for people with disabilities, in the U.S. in May 2019, and its role in the creation and distribution of accessible versions of books and other materials. It also describes the provisions of the U.S. Marrakesh Treaty Implementation Act. |
