Abstrakt: The management of holistic knowledge is an approach that aims to contemplate the management of knowledge in an integral way. Completeness results in jointly addressing all critical dimensions to the success of knowledge management. Thus, the connections between these dimensions are maintained in order to achieve a comprehensive and effective management of organizational knowledge, according to the precepts of the holistic paradigm. In this context, the gap of this research emerges, which aims to investigate if a model of this magnitude was proposed. Through this gap, this research aims to analyze the adherence of the Nonaka and Takeuchi (1997) model to the management of holistic knowledge. This analysis is carried out using mixed methodological procedures, using the qualitative-quantitative approach and the content analysis. As a result, the analyzed model partially adheres to the management of holistic knowledge, announcing that the gap in this research has not yet been addressed. This contributes to academia by pointing out that holistic knowledge management models still need to be developed. The analysis of other models, as well as the development of a model with this scope, are suggestions for future research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
