Information is provided on the meeting titled "Our Own Worst Enemy: Toward a More Inclusive Scholarly Communications Movement" held by the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS) Scholarly Communications Interest Group (a division of the American Library Association) at Denver, Colorado in February 2018. Topics, trends in scholarly communication, the open access publishing movement, the library science company Elsevier and goals of academic libraries, are discussed. |
