The article discusses the efforts undertaken by the National Centre of Biography at the Australian National University to remap the overland expedition route of the European explorer Ludwig Leichhardt from Moreton Bay, Queensland to Port Essington, Northern Territory. It states how cartographer Lauren Carter used the journal notes of the explorers to redraw the route. |
