Abstrakt: The author discuss how genomic medicine made a dramatic entry into clinical practice with Nicholas experience and its recovery. Genomics is the study of all of a person's genes (the genome), including interactions of those genes with each other and with the person's environment. Explains challenges hinder the integration of genomic medicine into patient care. Hospital librarians will need to be proactive to prepare for the inevitable adoption of genomic medicine approaches. It highlights that hospital librarians will be able to apply their research skills to create searchable databases of professional contacts at the local and national levels to address this need.
