The article discusses how the concept of transliteracy is integrated into a reference instruction in a library and information science class. Topics covered include the approach of students to researching and writing an essay on the topic of Arab Spring, information-seeking behavior of the students and the people outside of the academia and teaching students of developing knowledge of the publishing timelines of their information sources. |
