Abstrakt:	The article discusses international cooperation in the education of archivists between 1979 and 2014. The Committee on Professional Education and Training series of conferences hosted by the International Council of Archives is examined along with the history of the Network for Archival Educators. Regional differences between archivists' education between Germany and the United Kingdom are explored and the use of the internet in the education of archivists is described. A planned workshop for doctoral candidates in 2015 is previewed and the Network's summer courses on collective memory are reviewed.
