Abstrakt: A major pan-Arabic partnership emerged in 1981 when the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) was established, following several years of political unrest in West Asia. The council’s aim was to protect the stability of Middle Eastern energy and the socioeconomic welfare of its member states.
