| Popis: | The finality of the methodology is to contribute to the environmental management, public health and security in the Mekong River Basin. The goal is to propose an emergency preparedness system (conceptual data model) based on the analysis of the needs of the managers of the Mekong River Basin (Kandal, Cambodia). The objectives are (i) to analyze the needs of the Mekong River Basin in terms of the physical and human environment; (ii) to develop a method based on a systemic analysis (conceptual model) of environmental and human (socio-economic) data that is used to answer different needs and questions identified with the managers and (iii) to develop the architecture of the conceptual data model of a GIS. The principal needs and questions that we have been identified with the Cambodian authority on the field addressed the following themes: (1) access to health services; (2) localization of safe areas; (3) inventory of evacuation roads; (4) inventory of infrastructure at risk; and (5) localization of the nearest food security storage from the flood event."--résumé abrégé par UMI. |
