Popis:	The following study is devoted to Russian and Chinese poetry for preschool children. The object of our exploration was “key” texts which, as we assumed, shed a light on a mindset of Russian and Chinese native speakers. We compared poems regarding to their disciplinary, educational and aesthetic functions. Such an approach has made it possible to expose a number of analogies both at the content level and the level of form.
