The work is devoted to the effective design of electives for pupils. The paper considers the problems of the development of technological thinking in secondary school students; inconsistencies in the material and technical base of educational institutions that do not allow pupils to fully solve actual production, technological, and design and research tasks in the classroom. In the course of the work, a detailed analysis of various literature on the stated problems was carried out, as well as a draft of the optional course “Post-industrial society” was developed, a content plan, a thesaurus and constructs of training courses of the optional course were drawn up. In the future, it is going to continue work on the project and introduce it into the school system. The implementation of the project in extracurricular activities of a technological orientation will allow students to form such important competencies as: initiative, the ability to think technologically and find innovative solutions to problem situations, and the ability to self-educate. |
