| Popis: | The aim of the thesis is to map in opera production by one the Czech most notable composer of the 20 century - Bohuslav Martinů. A special emphasis was put on parts for baritones. The thesis explores their interpretation possibilities and describes features of particular characters. Special attention is paid to the analysis of vocal expression and typology of vocal phrases.The thesis also includes Martinů's biography and an essay concerning his starting points and unifying creative principles of his opera work. |
